During May 1991, Darlene began her career in the Social Security disability field as a paralegal for the Erie County Department of Social Services. Thereafter, she was promoted upward to several positions which included an attorney position for the Erie County Social Services Office of Counsel.
Darlene completed her Juris Doctor at the University at Buffalo New York Law School within 2 ½ years and obtained an Academic Program Certificate in State and Local Government.
