Darlene A. Sikorski is an attorney, a writer and an advocate for the disabled. She is known for her candidness and ability to frame an argument. Her arguments remain timeless and memorable.
During May 1991, Darlene began her career in the Social Security disability field as a paralegal for the Erie County Department of Social Services. Thereafter, she was promoted upward to several positions which included an attorney position for the Erie County Social Services Office of Counsel.
Darlene completed her Juris Doctor at the University at Buffalo New York Law School within 2 ½ years and obtained an Academic Program Certificate in State and Local Government.
During September 2004, Darlene opened her own law practice to independently help individuals under a disability fight for Social Security Disability benefits and other relative rights. As a Court Evaluator and Guardian Ad Litem, she advocated for individuals under a disability or considered a minor.
By serving the taxpayer in various position level capacities, Darlene gained valuable insider information about how to navigate through the government benefit administrative processes. Darlene’s navigation process abilities coupled with her negotiation and writing skills permit many of her clients benefit awards to occur without testifying in front of an Administrative Law Judge.
